The artifacts of previous generations are strewn about the land, like a spoiled child's toys lying in the front yard....
As I shot this caboose, its untold story came alive in my imagination. I felt the energy of the people who had passed through its doors, saw the wondrous places it had traveled, and contemplated its sad, premature retirement here in a lonely field...separate from the companions it had traveled with for most of its life.
