Project Athena - Day 43 (Old Technology)

Vintage Fuji Film Birdie Projector

Some choices we live not only once but a thousand times over, remembering them for the rest of our lives.
— Richard Bach

I don't know how old this projector really is but I thought it was prehistoric when it was thoughtfully passed down to me by my parents at very young age of 18.

Go Fuji Film! It still works! I know what my next camera will be!

When I first started taking pictures back in 1978 with that Pentax MX camera you see in my hands on the projection screen, slide film was my choice for color photography and I used this little piece of technology on a daily basis to show off my work. This self-contained, carry-anywhere unit was my way of blogging back then.

This week is gonna be so much fun shooting old technology. Hope you come along and travel into the past with me.

Smiling then, smiling now.
