Meet Murphey

This is my neighbor's hot rod, man toy. It's a 1972 SS Chevelle, souped up for racing and louder than a fighter jet on take off. My neighbor calls him "Murphey" as though he he had the personality of a mild mannered accountant. The tire tracks in the drive way suggest something just the opposite. I personally have named him "The Beast" because I can hear him coming into the neighborhood while he is still a mile away.

I may not appreciate what is under the hood that makes this car so bad ass, but I love his lines and his shiny chrome. More than that, I love that it is black and white.
